Deleting your account and personal data
Under Art. 17 GDPR (right to be forgotten)
Your rights
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data
Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Deletion of all personal data linked to your account
- Deletion of your pets' data
- Deletion of visit history and medical records
- Confirmation that your data has been deleted
How to submit a request
Send an email requesting deletion
Send a message to kontakt@pacjent.vet with the subject: "Wniosek o usunięcie konta"
Provide identifying details
In the message, give the email address or phone number linked to your account so we can verify your identity.
Wait for confirmation
You will receive confirmation that your request has been completed within 30 days of the date we receive it.
Processing time
Under the GDPR, your request will be handled within 30 days of the date we receive it. In exceptional cases this period may be extended by a further 60 days, and we will let you know.
What data will be deleted
- Profile data (first name, last name, email, phone number)
- Pet data (name, species, breed, date of birth)
- Visit and booking history
- Uploaded documents and photos
- Vaccinations and medical history
- Reviews and comments
Important
Deleting your account is irreversible. Once your data is deleted:
- Your pets' medical history cannot be recovered
- All documents will be permanently deleted
- Active bookings will be cancelled
- You will lose access to all app features
